Looking for a pug that will give you lots and lots of snugs? Meet Ramsey!
Hi, I’m Ramsey - the snuggliest pug that ever snugged! And I’m ready to wiggle my way into your heart… and attach myself to your body. Personal space? What’s that?! I would burrow into your skin and wear it as a skin suit if I could, but not in a weird way, I just love you and love cuddling you!
Speaking of things I’m great at… I’m also an awesome supervisor! I would love nothing more than to follow you around the house as you cook, clean, go to the bathroom. I’ll even tell you if you’re using the wrong knife to cut up some delicious steak for us, but don’t worry, I won’t yell at you like my namesake Gordon Ramsey does in Hell’s Kitchen… I only sous chef with LOVE.
I’m pretty chill 99% of the time… I might have been a California hippie dude in a previous life… but I do get little bouts of energy for zoomies and playing with my favorite toys - a little tug rope toy and an occasional slipper (the fluffier the better!) Speaking of my hippie qualities - I’m all about love and loving love and loving humans (young and old) and loving other dogs, too. I would love a house with another four legged furry dog sibling as I’ve grown quite close to my foster dog sister. She and I are besties and I love following her and taking cues from her almost as much as I love being attached to my humans!
An athlete I am not, and I’m on the struggle bus when it comes to walks. I will plant my paws and refuse to move and/or use the restroom until you cave and carry me home. What can I say? I’m a lover, not an exerciser! But I do have a special place in my heart for a fenced back yard and will roam and do my business to my heart’s content.
I’m still working on basic commands… and maybe with time I’ll come around to walks on a leash? But overall, I’m a chill, easy fella with a big heart and all the love to give, which overshadows any of my (ahem) shortcomings.
Are you ready for me to wear your skin suit? If so, I’m your guy - apply today! I can’t wait to meet you.

While in foster care, all our dogs are thoroughly vetted. Any discovered medical issues will be disclosed above. Our Lucky Bulldogs (and their smushie-faced buddies) are cleared by their vet for adoption prior to us accepting applications. All our dogs will be up to date on Rabies & DHPP vaccinations, up to date on Heartworm preventative after a negative Heartworm test, and spayed or neutered prior to being adopted out to their forever homes. Often times, our dogs are given dentals and sometimes nare-widening surgery if needed while under anesthesia. All surgical and medical history we have will be shared with adopters. Further details can be discussed with the foster volunteer during the phone interview for the applications that are chosen to proceed to the phone interview part of the adoption process.
All our dogs are crate trained unless otherwise noted on their "All About" pages.

We will accept applications for our available dogs for 1-2 weeks except in cases of overwhelming popularity where we may stop accepting new applicants sooner. Once we have stopped accepting applications, we will review them and proceed with a phone call with our top two applications to chat about the dog being applied for, go over the adoption process, and answer any questions the potential adopter has. After phone calls take place, we will decide on our top applicant choice and proceed to contact them to schedule a home visit (in person or via video chat), and check vet and personal references before the adoption is ready to be completed. This process can take up to 6 weeks.
