Are you looking for the Mork to your Mindy? If so, you’re in luck!
Na-nu na-nu (that means Hello where I’m from)! I’m Mork, a 4 year old half French/half English bulldog and I’m looking for a best friend that can help me learn everything there is to learn about life as a pet! I also answer to many other names… Piggly Wiggly, Giblet, Bubs… I’ll let you call me whatever you want as long as I’m getting loves!
I came to the rescue in pretty rough shape physically and emotionally, so I was nervous about everything at the beginning… stairs, what are THOSE?! However after receiving the best vet care and TONS of love, I have truly blossomed into the best Mork I can be… dork ear and all! I love cuddling you, sitting in your lap, sleeping next to you, staring at you, getting pats from you, following you around the house… basically anything that includes me and you, and I’m in! In the short time in my new life as a pet, I have yet to receive TOO MUCH love, but I’m down to try if you are. I also have other hobbies… smooshing my face into things, participating in #tongueouttuesday, playing with my foster brother MooShoo, and smiling - SMILING’S MY FAVORITE! I love all people of all ages, other dogs, and I EVEN love my foster cat brother. I just love to love and to be loved!
I am a super foodie if you will, not in the picky way, I just LOVE food, and dinner time is my favorite time of day! I am learning what it means to play - both with toys and my foster brother. I am fully potty trained as long as I am kept on a schedule. My foster mom says I’m pretty darn perfect, and she is always right, so I won’t disagree!
I do have some ongoing dry eye issues that will more than likely need daily medication, but other than that, I’m a healthy, happy little love bug.
Think you could be the Mindy to my Mork? KO! Apply today!

While in foster care, all our dogs are thoroughly vetted. Any discovered medical issues will be disclosed above. Our Lucky Bulldogs (and their smushie-faced buddies) are cleared by their vet for adoption prior to us accepting applications. All our dogs will be up to date on Rabies & DHPP vaccinations, up to date on Heartworm preventative after a negative Heartworm test, and spayed or neutered prior to being adopted out to their forever homes. Often times, our dogs are given dentals and sometimes nare-widening surgery if needed while under anesthesia. All surgical and medical history we have will be shared with adopters. Further details can be discussed with the foster volunteer during the phone interview for the applications that are chosen to proceed to the phone interview part of the adoption process.
All our dogs are crate trained unless otherwise noted on their "All About" pages.

We will accept applications for our available dogs for 1-2 weeks except in cases of overwhelming popularity where we may stop accepting new applicants sooner. Once we have stopped accepting applications, we will review them and proceed with a phone call with our top two applications to chat about the dog being applied for, go over the adoption process, and answer any questions the potential adopter has. After phone calls take place, we will decide on our top applicant choice and proceed to contact them to schedule a home visit (in person or via video chat), and check vet and personal references before the adoption is ready to be completed. This process can take up to 6 weeks.
