Other Dogs: Yes! He loves other dogs
House Trained: Yes, as long as he is let out
throughout the day.

Health Issues: None.
Behavioral Issues: None. He is a very good boy, but he is a typical bulldog, so is stubborn and bull headed.
Jaeger is a 2-year-old Bulldog with a huge heart who just wants to give as much love as he can to everyone around him. He is a very silly boy who loves to play with his toys, especially soccer balls! He has a lot of energy so be ready to hear stomping bully feet running through the house! He loves his foster mom and tries to be on her lap whenever he isn't running around. He gets along beautifully with his foster sisters and any other dog he has met. He is curious but friendly with cats, and even let his foster brother bearded dragon ride on his back!
Jaeger came from a not so nice situation where he clearly had no training and didn't get the love and attention he deserved. Foster mom has been working on training him and teaching him some manners, but more training would be beneficial as he can get over-excited at times and will occasionally jump up on guests. He is kenneled while home alone and sleeps in bed with foster mom and the other dogs at night.
He would be perfect for a family with children who will help wear him out or another dog to play with. He will definitely need a play mate and a yard where he can run. Experienced Bulldog owner would be best as he is a bit high maintenance at times. Currently, his wrinkles are cleaned twice a day with puppy wipes, he gets off brand Zyrtec with breakfast, and he gets foot baths for his itchy toes. He drools a lot! When he lays down, he leaves a wet spot where he laid his head down, so be prepared for wet socks. They call them "to go kisses" in his foster home.
Jaeger is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. Jaeger is crate trained, but does not love it. He can be hard to get inside the crate as he turns into 53 pounds of dead weight and will grumble about you trying to shove him inside. His foster mom throws biscuits in the crate and he goes inside willingly. Once inside, he’s happy to snooze the day away. He has a fan on his kennel to keep him cool and a radio to listen to while he's in there.
Jaeger would be a wonderful addition to a family and will quickly become your best friend. His foster mom calls him Beefy because he is such a beefcake.

While in foster care, all our dogs are thoroughly vetted. Any discovered medical issues will be disclosed above. Our Lucky Bulldogs (and their smushie-faced buddies) are cleared by their vet for adoption prior to us accepting applications. All our dogs will be up to date on Rabies & DHPP vaccinations, up to date on Heartworm preventative after a negative Heartworm test, and spayed or neutered prior to being adopted out to their forever homes. Often times, our dogs are given dentals and sometimes nare-widening surgery if needed while under anesthesia. All surgical and medical history we have will be shared with adopters. Further details can be discussed with the foster volunteer during the phone interview for the applications that are chosen to proceed to the phone interview part of the adoption process.
All our dogs are crate trained unless otherwise noted on their "All About" pages.
All our dogs are crate trained unless otherwise noted on their "All About" pages.
We will accept applications for our available dogs for 1-2 weeks except in cases of overwhelming popularity where we may stop accepting new applicants sooner. Once we have stopped accepting applications, we will review them and proceed with a phone call with our top two applications to chat about the dog being applied for, go over the adoption process, and answer any questions the potential adopter has. After phone calls take place, we will decide on our top applicant choice and proceed to contact them to schedule a home visit (in person or via video chat), and check vet and personal references before the adoption is ready to be completed. This process can take up to 6 weeks.
