Gunther is a loveable boy! He has been exposed to kids of all ages as well as other dogs and cats. He isn’t aggressive at all but being a puppy he can be kind of the “annoying younger brother” to his foster siblings. He won’t alert to go out but will go potty every time when taken outside. Gunther is not a fan of the cold and loves his jacket. Gunther is a typical puppy – play hard, NAP hard! He is a snuggle bug & likes being by his people and observe whatever they are doing. Gunther is very food motivated and eager to please. He’d much prefer your sock or a leaf versus the many expensive toys he has at his disposal, but he is not aggressive when items are taken from him due to safety concerns. Not much of a barker – only on occasion when trying to get foster mom’s attention or initiate play with the other dogs. He has never tried to escape fenced in yard; he stays pretty close to the deck/door where he can see his human(s). He is learning to go on short walks with a
harness but has a tendency to bite the leash. Is content in his pack-n-play or oversized wire crate while foster mom is at work.

Due to my age, I will be adopted with neuter contracts, if chosen as an adopter you would schedule with your vet or a vet we use if they stay local the neuter within 30 days of them turning 6 months.  If you do not use our vet a predetermined amount will be reimbursed upon proof of neuter.

We anticipate these Boston Terrier Puppies will be popular so please be detailed in the completion of your application and attaching pictures is always encouraged!   If you'd like, you can make note on your application that any puppy would be OK with you and we will consider your application for all four.

While in foster care, all our dogs are thoroughly vetted.  Any discovered medical issues will be disclosed above.  Our Lucky Bulldogs (and their smushie-faced buddies) are cleared by their vet for adoption prior to us accepting applications.  All our dogs will be up to date on Rabies & DHPP vaccinations, up to date on Heartworm preventative after a negative Heartworm test, and spayed or neutered prior to being adopted out to their forever homes.  Often times, our dogs are given dentals and sometimes nare-widening surgery if needed while under anesthesia. All surgical and medical history we have will be shared with adopters.  Further details can be discussed with the foster volunteer during the phone interview for the applications that are chosen to proceed to the phone interview part of the adoption process.

All our dogs are crate trained unless otherwise noted on their "All About" pages.

Apply for Gunther

We will accept applications for our available dogs for 1-2 weeks except in cases of overwhelming popularity where we may stop accepting new applicants sooner. Once we have stopped accepting applications, we will review them and proceed with a phone call with our top two applications to chat about the dog being applied for, go over the adoption process, and answer any questions the potential adopter has. After phone calls take place, we will decide on our top applicant choice and proceed to contact them to schedule a home visit (in person or via video chat), and check vet and personal references before the adoption is ready to be completed. This process can take up to 6 weeks.
