Ferb is a happy, go lucky, playful, and snuggly guy.  He is a very curious pug and loves his bones, walks, his foster brother, and naps. Ferb can usually be found chewing on his bones or cuddling in his dog bed with his foster brother. During the day, Ferb is crated while foster mom is at work, which he usually does great with! Whenever Ferb is crated, I have made sure he can always see foster mom or his fur brother. He may get anxious in a crate if he cannot see a family member or fur sibling, so an apartment might be tricky for him until he is 100% comfortable.  Ferb loves to go on walks and explore new areas. He also loves a backyard where he can let his zoomies out and play. He loves to be near his people and loves to lay in bed watching TV with his foster family. Ferb also makes the best alarm clock, once he hears foster moms alarm go off he likes to encourage her to wake up by licking her face and wiggling his body. It’s almost like he is saying “good morning I missed you!!” He adores attention and cuddles but will happily share the spotlight with his fur brother and other dogs around him as well. He is by all accounts an equal opportunity lover of all things, his tail never seems to stop wagging!

Always up for snuggles and a good nap this boy will melt your heart with his handsome brown eyes and loving demeanor. While Ferb is small, he has the largest heart and so much love to give! Ferb is the perfect dog for all ages and has never met a person or animal he doesn’t love! Whether he is an only dog or joining other fur siblings, he will make the best addition to any family. Ferb still has an accident here and there but will catch onto things quick if kept on a consistent schedule. Otherwise, he is neutered and up to date on all vaccinations! Ferb is ready shake his way into your heart and find his forever family!

While in foster care, all our dogs are thoroughly vetted.  Any discovered medical issues will be disclosed above.  Our Lucky Bulldogs (and their smushie-faced buddies) are cleared by their vet for adoption prior to us accepting applications.  All our dogs will be up to date on Rabies & DHPP vaccinations, up to date on Heartworm preventative after a negative Heartworm test, and spayed or neutered prior to being adopted out to their forever homes.  Often times, our dogs are given dentals and sometimes nare-widening surgery if needed while under anesthesia. All surgical and medical history we have will be shared with adopters.  Further details can be discussed with the foster volunteer during the phone interview for the applications that are chosen to proceed to the phone interview part of the adoption process.

All our dogs are crate trained unless otherwise noted on their "All About" pages.

Apply for Ferb

We will accept applications for our available dogs for 1-2 weeks except in cases of overwhelming popularity where we may stop accepting new applicants sooner. Once we have stopped accepting applications, we will review them and proceed with a phone call with our top two applications to chat about the dog being applied for, go over the adoption process, and answer any questions the potential adopter has. After phone calls take place, we will decide on our top applicant choice and proceed to contact them to schedule a home visit (in person or via video chat), and check vet and personal references before the adoption is ready to be completed. This process can take up to 6 weeks.
