What are 3 words that describe me? Well, my foster family would say loving, playful and uncoordinated. Uncoordinated leads me to my name, as they often say I am such a doof. I’m Doofy! Nice to meet you! I can’t wait to find my forever family; it would be the best holiday gift. I must say I am the best dog you could ever have!
I am just a puppy who has yet to figure out my size, hint why they call me uncoordinated. I fall off the couch, slide into the door when running down the hallway, and miss a few steps here and there. I also have been known to walk through the water bowls. Shhh don’t tell anyone, but I play it off as I meant to. What do I like to do? Well one of my favorite activities is playing. I think ALL the toys should be out ALL the time, I don’t understand cleaning them up. I need them all! When I wake up, I check on my toys first thing. Balls and bones are a favorite of mine. I sure do love playing with my foster sibling. We are so fast running around. Playing is in my daily schedule but my favorite activity of all is CUDDLING!!!!!! I LOVE to be right next to any hooman. I have no concept of personal space. I’ve heard hoomans like to watch Netflix. Well, I am your pal to binge watch. I will lay right next to you or on you! If you give me a little butt rub, I won’t complain. I am better than any blanket. Now playing and cuddling are important, but my third favorite activity is eating. You’ve never seen a happier dog than me right before mealtime. I do a full out happy dance! Playing, cuddling, and eating now that sums me up. I’d say those are the qualities of one great boy.
I am potty trained. I have had no accidents in my kennel. My foster family is very impressed! I have a pretty consistent schedule but if I need to go out, I’ll go to the door. I won’t say anything but if I am at the door, I promise you it's because I need to go. I know that I get a treat when I am done, so I'll rush right back inside. I LOVE treats! I am working on commands such as sit. I am also crate trained. I need some convincing to go but once inside I get comfy and settle in for a good nap. I sleep through the night. I would love to sleep with my humans or in their room. I haven’t figured out dog beds. I prefer the couch! I love to go on walks. I am good at walking on a leash.
I am also very healthy! My foster parents say that I have no major medical concerns. I do have allergies. I have a lot of wrinkles on my face that need to be wiped out and cream put on them. I love being around anyone whether its humans or dogs. I don’t know about cats; I have never met one.
I hope after reading about me, you can picture me next to your side! My foster family keeps telling me that I am going to find my forever family who will play with me and give me all the snuggles. They'll love me so much and I cannot wait!!! I am so excited!!!

While in foster care, all our dogs are thoroughly vetted. Any discovered medical issues will be disclosed above. Our Lucky Bulldogs (and their smushie-faced buddies) are cleared by their vet for adoption prior to us accepting applications. All our dogs will be up to date on Rabies & DHPP vaccinations, up to date on Heartworm preventative after a negative Heartworm test, and spayed or neutered prior to being adopted out to their forever homes. Often times, our dogs are given dentals and sometimes nare-widening surgery if needed while under anesthesia. All surgical and medical history we have will be shared with adopters. Further details can be discussed with the foster volunteer during the phone interview for the applications that are chosen to proceed to the phone interview part of the adoption process.
All our dogs are crate trained unless otherwise noted on their "All About" pages.
All our dogs are crate trained unless otherwise noted on their "All About" pages.
We will accept applications for our available dogs for 1-2 weeks except in cases of overwhelming popularity where we may stop accepting new applicants sooner. Once we have stopped accepting applications, we will review them and proceed with a phone call with our top two applications to chat about the dog being applied for, go over the adoption process, and answer any questions the potential adopter has. After phone calls take place, we will decide on our top applicant choice and proceed to contact them to schedule a home visit (in person or via video chat), and check vet and personal references before the adoption is ready to be completed. This process can take up to 6 weeks.
