Addy came to Lucky Bulldogs Rescue from the commercial breeding system, she now is looking forward to living the pet life and is settling happily into her new life.
Energetic and playful, this curvy ball of fluff is always down for the zoomies, playing with her humans while she slithers across the floor like worm, or collecting goodies from around the house to make a nice comfy bed – nothing is off limits for this girl. Missing a shoe, a blanket, or even a random floor rug? You will find Addy happily sleeping on top of her collection, snoring peacefully away.
The excitement this girl shows when her human will get on the floor with her is like none other, be ready for face licks, chin nibbles, and to laugh ridiculously as she shows off her snake moves before pouncing up and jumping onto the nearest object for kisses and the holdy, whether that be a humans lap or the back of some furniture. Make no mistake, she is an Olympic jumper- primed for hurdling or making her throne on the back of a comfy couch, whatever means are necessary to get to her human.
Have another dog that is looking for a buddy, Addy is all in, as long as her furry friend doesn’t try to take her things and gives her personal space when she is feeling anxious. Being new to the pet life, Addy is not accustomed to having a lot of ‘things or people’, so can sometimes get a little worried that they will get taken away or there is not enough to go around. With reassurance and love, she will quickly become part of the pack. No other fur babies, no worries there! Addy plays with humans as much as she plays with other dogs and is looking for a home that will give her endless love, lots of holdys, and will play with her as often as her heart desires!

While in foster care, all our dogs are thoroughly vetted. Any discovered medical issues will be disclosed above. Our Lucky Bulldogs (and their smushie-faced buddies) are cleared by their vet for adoption prior to us accepting applications. All our dogs will be up to date on Rabies & DHPP vaccinations, up to date on Heartworm preventative after a negative Heartworm test, and spayed or neutered prior to being adopted out to their forever homes. Often times, our dogs are given dentals and sometimes nare-widening surgery if needed while under anesthesia. All surgical and medical history we have will be shared with adopters. Further details can be discussed with the foster volunteer during the phone interview for the applications that are chosen to proceed to the phone interview part of the adoption process.
All our dogs are crate trained unless otherwise noted on their "All About" pages.

We will accept applications for our available dogs for 1-2 weeks except in cases of overwhelming popularity where we may stop accepting new applicants sooner. Once we have stopped accepting applications, we will review them and proceed with a phone call with our top two applications to chat about the dog being applied for, go over the adoption process, and answer any questions the potential adopter has. After phone calls take place, we will decide on our top applicant choice and proceed to contact them to schedule a home visit (in person or via video chat), and check vet and personal references before the adoption is ready to be completed. This process can take up to 6 weeks.
